Del Neri Not Want Restrictions Target
Juventus coach Luigi del Neri modify the previous statement that his team did not have enough material to be champion this season. He just did not want to make restrictions.
Del Neri sounded more optimistic after La Vecchia Signora beat Udinese 4-0 in Friuli, Sunday (09/19/2010). That was the first victory of Juve in Serie A this season, after only getting one point from two games.
When arrested Sampdoria last week, 60-year old coach had a chance to ignite controversy among Juventini because it does not seem sure to reach for the Scudetto title.
"I said, we do not want to put limits to ourselves, and we do not want to make any limits on our ambitions. We knew there would be difficulties, because this new team was born and Juve can not wait," he snapped.
"But if we play like this (against Palermo), then good results will be obtained automatically. If we play like against Bari (lost 0-1), then it will be difficult."
"I think my players are the best team in Italy. We have a midfield-midfielder who can adapt very well. On defense we had Zdenek Grygera who looked impressive on the left side," explained Del Neri.
