Get Immediate Serie A Certainty
Certainty about whether or not a Serie A player to play the strike would soon be known. The next day, talks between the parties concerned would be carried out.
The threat of a strike was started from position statement from the Italian Players Association (AIC), which concerns the rights of players. In essence, they threatened to strike on September 25 to 26 if the demands were not met.
Quoted from Football-Italy, Leonardo Grosso AIC lawyer said that through these demands are not the only important players on their financial condition only.
"We have left the public opinion. Indeed, when every player prioritize requests from the players union, then the inevitable will happen a little 'incitement' and also a lot of misinformation."
"The offer we submitted a collective does not contain material financial matter, except for minimum wage required in the contracts of young players when he left the Primavera team."
Tomorrow or Tuesday (9/21/2010) will be held at the meeting between the parties concerned to discuss about the demands of AIC. "I hope the agreement reached in the meeting tomorrow. I'm also still not sure if the League has taken a definite position. So I hope, tomorrow, every party has a desire to reach an agreement," concluded Grosso.
